Texas Heat Floral Arrangement

Our first real thunderstorms of the year are happening as I write this post. We are only a few days away from the official start of Spring here in Texas but as is common in the South, we may skip right over Spring and barrel straight into Summer. Today’s high was 83 degrees, 61% humidity. That’s relatively low humidity for around here but I was definitely feeling the heat today.

My Iceland Poppies continue to bloom orange and yellow in rapid succession. I am also still enjoying new black and white anemones each morning.

From my garden: poppies, anemones, greens (Rosemary & Crape Myrtle).
